I understand Forward is a lost cause for now. Is this the same with the Back function?

The left arrow on the phone works as Back function only until you hit the Home button to access the main screen. After that, if you access IE and use the left arrow button, you will be taken to the Home screen not through the IE recent history.

I s there any other way to go Back? Am I missing something?
Sorry if this was posted before, but I could not find an answer.

The Recent section in IE is your best friend.
Not sure which section you are taking about. Do you mind clarifying?
Edit: Never mind. Got it... Thanks.
You are correct, somewhat. If you're on IE, then hit the start button, maybe access some apps, then click IE again, you will not be able to view recent web pages visited.
But if you're on IE, hit the start button, mess around with other apps, then HOLD the back button, click the opened IE tab, you should be able to view recent pages.
Yes, I used to do that once in a while, but most of the time I forget and just clicked on IE logo.
