Back to a 925

So I have been in WP since the release of the 920. I owned a trophy before that for a few weeks, but when the 920 released we jumped carriers.

Owned the 920 till I busted it. It was to heavy and bulky anyways. Picked up a 925 as the replacement. Loved it, but the screen was a little small. While camping it got wet. Moved to the 520. That thing was an absolute nightmare. Clunky and the apps crashed a lot. I couldn't take it anymore and switched over to next to get a 1520, was great. But that phantom touch issue drove me nuts. Got an replacement through att and it had the same issue. 3rd one seemed fine.

I recently got a new job that provided me with a phone. Unfortunately it is an iPhone 6. While it's fine. It's not a windows phone. We can no longer justify paying for me to have a personal phone line. So I sold my 1520.

I was have been without a windows phone for a few weeks and it is driving me nuts. So I finally found a 925 for cheap and am now back in the WP world.

Congrats on your purchase !! Me too. I would be interested to know how you are doing on the battery front. I'm getting around 10 hours and am wondering if I should swap the battery out. Battery app is saying around 15 hours per day average but I don't see that if I play a game for 20 mins as it drains much faster. Beautiful phone though :smile:

It's in the mail. I really had no issue that people are reporting with my last 925. Battery life was fine for the size of the battery.

yea, your battery sounds about right, the 925 has a pretty small battery, its relying on the OLED display to take weight off of it, so just make sure you always use the black theme when available and you'll get decent life out of it

I used to have the 925, its a gorgous phone, I swear I've went and glorified this phone on atleast 5 threads now haha, but I really loved it, its a sexy phone, the only reason i ditched it for my 1520 was memory size, I use my phone as a music player too, and i have well over 16 gigs of music, so it just wasnt enough!

Were glad to have you back though!

on another note, I have yet to notice this phantom touch issue with my 1520.. wonder if they fixed it in the .3 model.

Kinda why I came back to it. I'm gonna get a flagship when wp 10 is released.
