Backspace Key Problem on Surface Go Type Cover

Hi, I got a Surface Go and a type cover a couple of days ago and have noticed the following problem: When I press the 'backspace' key, it deletes text BOTH to the left and to the right of the cursor? I was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue.

Does it work fine with a Bluetooth or USB keyboard?

Hello,

I've exactly the same Problem with my Surface Go Signatur Type Cover.
If I press the backspace key bit harder the text deletes in both directions.
Tryed a extern Keyboard without Problems. Is it a Hardware or Software Problem?

If it happens in more than one app (e.g. when using Word, or browsing the internet) then it suggests a faulty type cover.
