Band 1 and 950 XL issues

I have a band 1 and a 950 Xl. I have paired the band to the phone and my steps and sleep sync but no notifications get pushed to the band. No texts, emails, calls etc.. Nothing going from phone to band, only band to phone.

Anyone else have this issue? How do I fix it?
