I dont know whats happening but my battery charges superfast and drains superfast.

Try a soft reset and then check for a charging cycle. Lumia 720 is touted to have very good battery life.

Head to following thread. I've posted some my settings that i fiddled. Battery life improved by a good 10-11 hrs.
