battery: 99%

Hi all,

after updating to wp8.1, my battery goes to 99% from 100% the second i unplug it from the charger. is this a calibration issue? how do i resolve this? has anyone had this problem?

I initially was confused by this as well. But then I realized that it actually makes a lot of sense. It's more accurate for your phone to say it's at 99% than 100% when it's off the charger.

If you're using your phone off the charger, and it tells you it's at 100%, then it's lying to you.

hmm, i know what you mean. but its just that it usually stays charged for a bit before it loses some battery

My phone has done this from day 1, even on Windows phone 8.0, so don't believe that is unusual.

oh ok. i've never had that problem on wp8

I've had my phone for over a year now and as soon as I unplug the battery drops from 100% to 93% (Wp8.0). I guess the charge wear affects the capacity

Sounds like the battery is starting to wear out.

Lol... Mine does the exact opposite. 100% lasts a long time, I can even play a few rounds of Asphalt, but after it drops to 99% it drops steadily down.

Battery unable to hold charge for sometime. Compare that to an iPhone. IPhones good at holding battery charges.

You are joking right? I used my cousins' iPhone 4s to play Hill Climb Racing. The battery drops like... cats and dogs :straight:
