Battery consumption

Hello other Pro 3 users!
What battery life are you guys getting out of your Surfaces' and does anyone know how to extend their battery consumption???
Yesterday I got about 5-6hrs of power out of my tablet, and that was composed of writing reports and browsing the web - without breaks. Whereas today I used it to take notes for a 1hr lecture, its been asleep for 4hrs, until I started to write this, and the battery is at about 60%

If you guys have any tips on how to better your Surfaces battery life it'll be well appreciated!!! :grin:

Only general ones like making sure you limit what runs in the background, turning off wi-fi when you don't need it etc.

......and don't use Chrome :shocked:

thanks for the feedback, I don't use Chrome anyway, AND I've heard that it uses loads of power

I DID use Chrome but have now switched to Firefox which makes a big difference to my battery!

One of the biggest power savers is to turn down the screen brightness to the lowest comfortable setting. There is a shortcut to this under charms bar > settings. The screen on a mobile device often uses more power than everything else combined.
