Battery Life, a short comparaison of WP8.1 "Denim" vs W10M "FCU"

The battery life depends obviously on the combinaison of 3 parts: the Device, The OS and the usage (apps used).
I tried several months ago to upgrade my L930 to W10M "Anniversary Update". But reverted back quickly to WP8.1 because of the high battery consumption.
After reading several posts regarding the optimisation of CU and FCU, I decided to make a new trial but this time with :
- the hack for getting the very last iteration of W10M: the "FCU" !
- a protocol to compare: same apps (else equivalent) and same gestures.
I took a lot of measure BEFORE the upgrade (WP8.1 Denim) and AFTER the upgrade (W10M FCU).
The result astonished me : most of time the applications I use to use consume LESS under W10M FCU than under WP 8.1 Denim !

This is very interesting! Thank you for taking the time to not only do this testing but to also share your results with us. I would have always thought that it was the other way around that 8.1 would be more likely to save battery.
