Battery life

Hello.
I have the latest build installed and facing some problem with battery life, it drains very fast and @ 50% it says battery low n switches off the device, on restarting it has 49% battery left and again after some use @ 47 - 45% it again switches off showing battery low warning.

Having the same problem if i revert to windows phone 8.1

Anyone else facing the problem or is it just me?
should i get my device checked?

If your phone is close to 2 years old then it would seem that your battery is kaput. That is exactly what happens when they go bad.

Its 1.3 year old.

Well the good news is they sell 1520 replacement batteries on amazon for between $10 - $20, cheap. Bad news is I the battery is glued to the back of the LCD and with super strong glue. but as long as you take your time should be ok.

I couldn't find the battery online stores here in India.
i guess i have to get my device checked.

I am from India and I faced the same issue. I got replacement battery from eBay.com and it is acting weird. I will post update tomorrow.
