BBC iPlayer now stores your favorite shows for 30 days

The BBC has updated its iPlayer service to now store 30 days' worth of content for viewers in the UK. In the past, the catch-up service was limited to 7 days for the majority of shows, making this quite the upgrade for those who found themselves frequently missing episodes.

Useful and even more useful when they bring out the promised iplayer app for the Xbox One, already have two of the other big five UK channels players on the XB1 (4 and 5) so when the beeb release it just leaves ITV.

Useful if you view on a PC, but the WP app (wrapper) is basically useless.

How much effort is it to get a decent app? Surely MS would help them as they seen to have done with some other popular apps.
