bedside mode? or even one touch silent?

I was a black berry user in the past and one the BEST (and simple) features was called bedside mode.

When the phone is plugged in no matter email/text/phone... it does not vibrate or make a sound. Not enough emergencies happen in my life to justify being woken up by spam / wrong numbers or people i don't want to talk to @ 2am.

Its nothing more than putting the phone in pure silence when charging.

It does not even need to be automatic, i am comfortable with pressing a button or something, but there is no way in **** i am lowering my volume from 15-20 to 0 AND going into my settings to turn off vibrate.

anyone know of a way to do this? maybe even an app?

we dont have that feature sadly

why do you go in settings for Vibration?

click the volume button, look at the top right of the phone you have a BELL click on that and it goes to vibrate!!!

Not sure of any apps that will do that exactly.

If you have already got vibrate mode off.

Press the volume key (up or down).

Then you'll see on the far right a bell, tap that once and your phone will go into silent mode.

To turn the sound back on, repeat the process.

i grim option... I like vibrate, almost more so than the ring tone

Thanks for the info guys... ill keep an eye out for that down the line. Mentioned problem aside I think its very nice OS.
