Well, If money is no object go with the extreme pro because the read/write speed on the pro will be superior to the standard [FONT=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]UHS card (although both are UHS) and since you're planning on using it as a HDD in your surface, the experience will be less frustrating.[/FONT]

Also consider, if you plan on the 64 GB surface just upgrading to the 128 GB. Would be a lot faster and more cohesive storage than with a larger MicroSD like that for only marginally more money.

I just picked up one of these online here in Australia for $70 AUD including shipping (and I've seen them for $65) so you might be able to find it a little cheaper than the $80.

yep, more is always better, if they offered a 256gb option, I would probably take it.
