Best setting for outdoor shots

I just got a L1020 a few weeks ago and want to know what are the best setting for outdoors(fishing)

Honestly, Auto works pretty well for most outdoor shots. The 1020 can over expose backdrops and skylines, alot. Maybe some manual exposure settings, but you'll just have to play with that if you need to. (This is why I wish Nokia Camera had a very basic, single shot, HDR mode, to fix small over/under exposures).

If color balance seems off on the screen, prior to shooting, just point the camera away (either straight up in the sky or straight down works) and then back to the area you want to shoot.

Shoot in raw especially with water and sky. You can bring out so much more in the photo.
