Black 920 with colored case as a replacement for colored 920?

So Rogers is taking its sweet time in coming out with the colored 920s if it is going to at all. So in the mean time I was thinking would getting a black 920 and then putting on a colored snap on case be as good?

I don't think it will be as good. The case will be thicker and may not cover all of the polycarbonate body. It's not a bad thing, but it will be nothing like the real colored body.
