So now that the update is here, what can be done?
What's new?

I am a new 1020 user so everything is new to me lol

Black was a firmware update from Nokia. The biggest inclusion is the ability to set the camera to take DNG or digital negative shots which you can then edit and process yourself in photoshop. There is not processing inside the phone like with a regular JPEG image.

The Nokia site says this "Update to Nokia Camera that combines Nokia Smart Camera and Nokia Pro Camera. Available from the Store app.". Does this mean instead of 2 seperate apps we can have just the one?

Splendid.
I did notice you cant group apps though like you can on some other devices. I'd like Twitter and Facebook etc together on one tile instead of seperate.

You could try App Folder.
Some people reported problems with this app (phone rebooting). I have used it since it came out without any problem though.

Where does the phone store DNG?
I took a photo and it allowed me to share a RAW image but it was a jpg still.

DNG files can only be pulled off the phone by connecting it to your computer. I don't believe they even auto update to SkyDrive yet.

Anyone else having volume control problems with Nokia 1020 since Black update (see thread Nokia 1020: Volume Control Issue)?
