Blank screen on Search button

There is no Cortana for Mobile in my region, so I usually rarely use the search button. I have tried it on 8.1, but never on 10. Today I decided to try it, but there is nothing except a "search in Web or Windows" search bar. Is this how it is supposed to be or it's just a bug I have? Should we not get the daily bing image like we did on 8.1?

is the search working as it should? i believe the bing UI has been replaced entirely with Cortana but the search integration remains in windows 10. So to me it seems legit ,and not a bug.

Yes, it runs excellent and fast. Looks like it's legit. Pretty boring being a blank page though. They could have inserted the daily bing image there.
