Bluetooth automatically playing songs.

Since this new update, every time I get in the car, as soon as the Bluetooth connects, it starts playing the first song in my music list on the phone, even if nothing was playing last time I was in the car. This is something my iPhone used to do, and I hated it.

Is this happening to anyone else, and if so, how the bloody hell do I make it stop, short of disabling Bluetooth on the phone.

happening to mine as well, dont know how to disable either. normally i wouldnt care but it just plays the 1st song each time and not where it left off.

I have a WP8.0 and my Partner has an Android. Both phones are known to the car Bluetooth. Whichever phone connects to the car, music on that phone automatically starts to play over Bluetooth. Always the same song on my WP, and always the same song on their Android.

I also have Bluetooth headphones, but whenever they connect to my phone they DON'T start the music playing automatically.

So I'm guessing this depends on the device the phone connects to - rather than it being a setting on the phone.

It's very, very annoying and I'd love to figure out how to stop it from happening. I don't think I'll ever find an option on the phone but if you know how to achieve this then I'd love if you shared

It is a "feature" of the car stereo. An annoying feature sometimes for sure. I like it on long trips listening to podcasts but get annoyed on shorter trips.

I was having a similar issue with Here Drive and the Bluetooth Music playing when in the car. Found an app that completely solved that issue.

I recommend you guys try the Nav Voice Only app, it should help with your issue as well.
