Bluetooth problem with GM cars.

Yesterday I was stunned beyond belief to find my Lumia 925 on 8.1 Developer Preview Bluetooth does not work with my 2013 Cadillac. WP8 works perfectly and I had been gloating and even converted some Cadillac owners to WP because of how poorly their iPhone or Android worked with new Cadillacs which I assume would apply to all GM cars that do not have iPhone or Android apps built into the car.

With WP 8, I could voice dial by name in my phone directory and have texts read to me over the car's speakers and dictate responses. The car/phone combination would even temporarily pause music sources external to the phone instead of just mute them. Now I find it can't access my phone directory at all and the phone can't hear my voice commands such as read or ignore texts, etc. while connected. Basically, all I can do is take calls.

I've unpaired and deleted the references between the car and phone and repaired with and without the WP 8.1 option to try other settings. I even reset the phone.

This is really bad people. Why/how could some aspect that was so superior to iPhone and Android get broken? What's the best way to get MS' attention?

I don't even know when it happened because I almost never initiate calls from the car. I found this out yesterday when I was very early to an appointment and decided to make a call while waiting. I've been on developer preview for months but can't say if it was broke from the start with 8.1 DP or with one of the intermediate updates.

I can't believe MS would shoot themselves in the foot like this.

Have you turned on advanced Bluetooth? I had a similar issue on my Volvo after I had reset when I had l lost Cortana.
