Bought a 822 was it a wise choice?

I know the 822 is 2 years and a few months old now but I bought one to replace my faulty Lumia 620. I got a huge deal for the 822 btw.
Do you guys think that's a problem seeing as it's on the market for that period of time? Would love to get experiences from past, current or new owners.

Have the phone for about 1.5 years. It gives you good ROI, but without any bells and whistles.

And, it already has Denim upgrade available and will be upgradeable to Win 10. Very cheap way to have the best of both worlds. Is it a flagship? No. But you knew that going in.

I had my 822 for a year and have had no problem's at all with it! I really need to be able to change out batteries on the fly which eliminates most of the the phone's they have released on Verizon since the 822. If I break this one, I will pick up another one on eBay.

I have the 822 since day one and it's a great phone never had a problem, or with any of the updates I have done. Waiting for the next flagship to be released them I'm going to retire old faith full.

One other thing, you may want to check and see if you could find a wireless charger back plate and a charger pad it's nice.
