Brightness bug on high

Since finally getting Cyan on my dev preview a couple weeks ago I've noticed that the screen randomly dims slightly for a few seconds then will go back to it's previous state. I have the brightness set to high in the settings (auto dim is off) and in settings under "display" the slider under High Level is set to max brightness.

I've tried reducing brightness with the slider and it makes no difference. This wasn't an issue before Cyan. So I feel this may be directly related to this new Brightness Profile option.
