Business Insider lists HTC 8X as one of the worst phones of all time?

I don't read Business Insider links, because they are idiots, but I'll just ask... are they stating is a dud due to bad quality or bad sales. Big difference.

I saw this article using WEAVE last night and it was an instant fail.

The Business Insider article was edited, but initially it said something like "We stumbled across a CNET article listing the worst phones of all time
"
I clicked the link to the CNET article and it was listing the worst phone NAMES of all time. Uhh OOPS

Here is the CNET article with the 8X and the reason why it was in the Business Insider article.
Seriously, what were they thinking? - Worst cell phone names of all time (pictures) - CNET Reviews

MS is the whipping boy of the tech world, and that 9/10 times a tech journalist/blogger can make any type of claims or criticisms or flame bait/click bait worthy articles about MS and it's products without facts to back it and not face any professional repercussions or blow back.

I said this in another thread, and it still rings true. I like how all the phones in that list were several years old with the exception of the 8x. Even worse was that their only reason for branding it "one of the worst phones ever" was a random amazon.com user review, while completely ignoring the majority of positive user reviews.

I haven't had any issues with the phone itself. The only problems the phone has ever had, have been related to the OS, actually.

I officially decided that I hate any web "article" that displays data in a list that forces users to click through for each entry. I don't care how interesting the headline seems, I am not falling for something that is blatant click-bate.

I wish browsers had a default blacklist, because reading Business Insider should be classified as self-harm.

These are just random quotes from user reviews. How many are singular faulty units? Comments taken entirely out of context for a click grabbing "Shocking" top ten.
Very un-newsworthy.

Just as they did with the 8x, Business Insider misquoted their source on a political article I wrote a few years back. Journalistic integrity is hard to find these days. They stink.

....and how many other phones were named like the 8x? 4s, 3g, 5c, 5s, One, N9, N8, N95........ Why is 8X so terrible?

This phone is not very good, i like the OS, but the actual phone is junk, constant sim errors, constant rebooting, back is wearing off, terrible support.

i wont be buying another HTC phone, but i will buy another windows phone if they still exist in a few years.

Do bear in mind the CEO and Editor of Business Insider is Henry Blodgett, a morally dubious fellow who was banned from the securities industry for life for his foibles of writing false reports while with investment bank Merrill Lynch.
