Hi all, I am looking into buying an used Lumia 1520. Would someone tell me where is the water damage indicator on this phone and other tips I should check or watch out for while inspecting the phone from the seller?

For IMEI check, I plan to simply insert my SIM card to verify if I can get the service.

Take out the sim and sd card tray, you will see a small square sticker. It should be white. If it's red it has water damage.

Also try inserting multiple sd cards, try Bluetooth /nfc sharing(just in case).
For IMEI check, dial *#06#, your imei no. Would be shown, go to Nokia site>check warranty & it'll show you whether the phone is in warranty or not
