Calendar problem.

Before i did a hard reset on my phone, I was able to see the upcoming holidays in the calendar. Now it doesn't display that and i can't seem to find the option ( if it ever existed ). How do i enable that feature again?

You should have a seperate Holiday calendar. In calendar go to ... and click on settings and have your calendar open.

If you are talking about windows 8, swype from the edge of the screen to and click on settings and options.

I'm talking about windows phone 7. The windows live, Facebook and outlook calendars are all set to " on ". And in the preferences I have " show to - dos " checked.

I added the US holidays in my outlook.com calendar settings in the desktop version of outlook.com.

Did you have to add this, or was it done automatically. For me birthdays and US-Holidays were added automatically with separate calendars.

I don't remember, since it's been a long time. However, if they're unchecked they won't show up on the device calendar.

I do remember adding the Meetup calendar for managing meetings from groups to which I belong. Those also get automatically synced with my device. I'm using outlook.com as an Exchange ActiveSync account on my device.

Did you set up the outlook.com account as Exchange on your device? It won't sync all the calendars (and tasks) otherwise.

I had a similar problem a while back and couldn't figure it out. I looked around on bing and just subscribed to one of the UK holidays calendar there and it syncs fine on my phone.

It was in the following format for me: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/caldata/UKHolidays.ics
