Calender phone problem - 1320 WP 8.1

I've had my 1320 for about 2 weeks now, it's a great phone/organizer. I really like having a big screen to use the calendar function - I make lots of appointments and it's great for that (especially Cortana in 8.1 adding an appointment verbally!)

But - today I have come up against a problem/bug/fault. I can open calendar and view everything fine, but as soon as I press the + button to add a new appointment - it throws me out to the home screen.

I can still add one via Cortana - but there is obviously a problem as I can't type one in (and Cortana struggles with my English accent!)

Any thoughts help or suggestions please?

The calendar is fixed and can be found in the store

There are loads of threads already on this issue. Its a bug within the last update. I think its getting updated very soon if not already.

That'll teach me to do a search first! I shall have a rummage now to see if there is a way to solve it, it's very frustrating!
