One of my favorite things to do on any device, but the Go in particular, is to calibrate the display color (Start > search for Calibrate display color)
I just feel like the Go needs better contrast and more pop in color. The only change I make is I lower the gamma well below the recommended settings. I don't touch the other brightness/color settings. That looks great to me, especially since the color is already good enough.
Give it a shot if you've never tried. Worst case scenario is you don't like it and hit Cancel to go back to what it was. Or, you end up in a rabbit hole of constantly adjusting gamma/brightness/colors until you get it just right.
