Call volume problem while using earphones

I have a nokia Lumia 520 when I use my earphone for calling purpose I cant increase or decrease the volume I mean the volume decreases but actually it doesnt just low down the ringer volume instead of call volume. Please help,any suggestion

Try to update you Nokia system apps including audio/extras+info. Also check if your phone is on the latest black update. If these did not solve your issue try to do as of soft reset by holding volume down + lock button at same time until your phone vibrates and reboot itself.

My phone is updated as u said,i even tried soft reset but still the volume function doesn't show any effect when earphone is plugged in during call
