Calls from Windows Central

[Windows Central Question]

I just got as call from someone claiming to be from windows central. He stated that someone was accessing my computer remotely. He wanted me to go to my computer - I hung up on him at that point.

Hanging up was the right thing to do.
Looks like scammers might be using the good name of Windows Central to steal peoples info.

VERY VERY common scam, they also use MicroSoft, and the names of Internet and Phone carriers. It's NEVER legit. This is what you do.....

it would be entertaining to keep the person on call for some time and see what happens - of course without doing anything - just stringing along the scammer on a wild goose chase
