Camera roll - select all

Is it just me or is the "select all" function in Camera Roll disabled when there are too many photos? I love my Lumia 810 but I can't believe Microsoft doesn't think it's capable of handling the batch process of deleting 300 photos. Every other phone I've had could manage this.

Happens for me too, I mean does not happen to choose select all... for my lumia 720.... Any Clue?

bump. would like to know this also! my 920 cannot 'select all' in camera roll, that option is greyed out... i have my pics backed up to Skydrive but would like to clear it out!
