Camera zooming quality

Anyone else here thinks that the zooming in quality of the camera is rather poor? I know that it's a budget smartphone, but I expected it to be a little bit better than what I'm getting.

5Mpx won't zoom well at all. Sorry:/

Zooming in will greatly degrade the quality on 5 & 8 mp cameras.
