Can anyone else get on GTA5 servers?

I keep getting kicked out or find an empty lobby. The only way to play is to directly join jobs in order to interact with people, and when I go back in lobbies, they are either empty or people getting kicked or I'm getting kicked by server error.

Is this on Microsoft or Rockstar?

My friends on ps3 are experiencing this, I think it must be Rockstar's servers getting overloaded?

Are we on the same server as Last gen gamers or just this gen? How can it get overloaded? There are more gamers last gen. I barely see people playing GTA5 this gen. I'm a little irritated I keep renting that chopper on Pegasus, and every time I am up in the air, it disconnects.
