Can I get some help updating a second hand phone to DENIM?

Problems updating a second hand phone to DENIM

I bought a second hand Lumia 1520 from Game here in the UK. got it home and then found out it was from Hong Kong. The Microsoft update site now says that Denim is available in HK. But even after I change all the settings I can find on the phone to make it look like it's still in HK it says that my phone is up to date with CYAN. My Carrier is Three.
Techy stuff:-
running 8.1.
firmware=02061.00066.14253.40004
Hardware=5.0.0.1
O.S.=8.10.12397.895
RM-937_apac_hong_kong_222
MOBILE OPERATOR=000-HK

is there any way of getting my pride and joy updated here in the UK?

And don't get me started about my Three locked 1020.

Yes there is or wait for the OTA which is a "known" problem that is active on the MS site or use the Lumia Software recovery tool because with this tool you will get the DENIM for your phone.

Hi, I've already used the recovery tool. I forgot to put that in the original post.
I suppose I could always do it again, can't hurt.

My 1020 only found the Denim OTA when I unchecked the Preview for Developers app.
Maybe you should give it a try.

Thanks for the sound advice. I used the recovery tool again then checked for the update and there it was. I'm now one happy bunny.

Three still haven't released the update for the 1020, but I only use it as a camera and sat nav any way.
