Can I get some help with scanning on my Canon Imageclass D530 all in one.. unit?

I am having a tough time trying to scan on my Canon Imageclass D530 all in one... unit.

I press the scan function and it tells me to select the scan type and I highlight Computer press the OK key and it goes right back to scan type and the Computer highlights again. I am sure I have to do something else to get it to operate but I could not find my answer in the manuals.

The printer works fine when I send a document from my PC to just print it. The copier work great too. I just cannot figure out how to scan a document and save it to a PC file folder.

No, you may not use the scan function when sharing drivers that are installed to another computer. To use the scan function, install the MF Drivers on your computer. You can use the supplied user software CD-ROM or download the drivers from the offi cial Canon
