Can i leave the Surface Dock always connected???

Windows Central Question

Like a Desktop? Or it's gonna damage my Battery? Real question guys.

I keep seeing conflicting answers on sites that give advise on how to best keep a rechargable battery. Pragmatically, the battery will die regardless of if you keep it plugged in constantly or not.

If you need a desktop solution, many mass produced PCs are relatively cheap, and you could go for one of those. There are a lot of barebones kits where the PC is about the size of 4 decks of cards. These would only need the unit itself, RAM, and storage.

I would say it depends on how you are using the Surface Book 2 and to add what @Golfdriver97 has said, I picked up a HP Elite 800 G2 with 32 GB of ram for less than £500 with a 500 GB mechanical hard drive. There are bargains to be found if you look hard enough.
