Can I no longer link my Domain account to a Microsoft account?

Can I no longer link my Domain account to a Microsoft account? I recently reformatted my work PC, now I've lost syncing between my Microsoft and Edge (and other things) that I miss. I can't seem to figure out how to re-link them.
