Can I repair my Nokia L 520 damaged headphone jack myself?

Nok L 520 Headphone jack Damaged

My headphone jack is damaged/broken. Sound is coming from 1 side, i must rotate the headphone's in the jack to get sound from 2 side's. when i plug them in my pc it's fine.

Can i repair this myself or a job for customercare?

I would check ebay or something for 520 parts. Also double check what a new phone costs, as I know it's one of the lower cost ones. If the part will cost you $20 (and will need 2-3 hours of work) and new phone is $40, is it really worth fixing ?

Did you try a different set of headphones ? I have seen that happen before to headphones when they wire is bent so many times...

yes. The same but these headphones came right out the package when this occured.
