Can I restore the app data after/ during apps installation?

I deleted some of my apps/games because of low memory. But if I wanna download some of them, is it possible that the previous app data will be restored during those apps' installation? In my settings, onedrive app backups is always on. So can i get the app data back?

yes , most likely the app should restore data, but i have had times when i have to start from the scratch .
