Windows Central Question

I have a windows lumina phone and it was working fine until I decided to put most of my apps on my sd card. is there a way that I can find out if I have a virus or ? Or should I just do a hard reset? How do I do a hard reset? Do I need an antivirus installed on my windows limina??

No its not a virus. Use the search function on this site to learn more from the many who asked before you.

No antivirus needed.

So something went wrong when you stuck stuff on the SD card? perhaps its not fast enough? or its defective? or just bad luck?

If your card is not class 10, if it is not formatted properly, if it is not fully indexed, if the App has a lot of read/write needs... these can all cause issues. Especially if you have more than one condition.

Think about it for a moment. Your phone was fine. Then you moved the same Apps you were already using to SD. How would they then become a virus?
