Hey. Don't say i didn't search the forums and the web cuz i did. Problem i have now with my tempered glass is that it was designed before the phone came out, so the measurments were very poorly calulated. Doesn't quite cover the whole screen. The lumia 930 screen is actually curved down on upper and lower part of the phone, that's why 0,33mm thick tempered glass can't fit right on screen, so now air and dust get caught under, and it looks ugly as hell. I couldn't find anything that would be a perfect match, so i thaught i'd ask here, the biggest lumia community there is

Here is what it looks like (awful i know)

Any help is very welcome, thank you in advance

It's arrived.

Beautifully packaged, well engineered - nice smooth edges etc.

Fits fine - as in it's the right shape. Can't get it bubble-free though. And it picks up dust around the edges just like yours at the top and bottom due to the curvature of the screen.

Moral of the story: it's no better than the one you've already got.

Started to accumulate dust already.

Also weird concentric bubbles have formed which weren't there immediately after application - the uniform pattern of the bubbles suggests there is some issue with the way the adhesive is applied during manufacture:

I am not impressed. I have installed many screen protectors, tempered glass and plastic, on a variety of devices and have never had one coming out looking this bad before!

The problem with Lumia 930 and 920 is the convex screen. So any screen-guard or tempered glass protection that covers the whole screen will attract dust across the edges. A tempered glass protection too needs to be convex from the edges

I complained to Stilgut yesterday. They refunded me today. Fair enough!

Fantastic customer service, shame the 930 doesn't lend itself to tempered glass screen protectors. I'll definitely check out one of their cases - while I'm surprised they took a product to market that clearly isn't fit for purpose, the quality of their products seems to be very high and I'm very impressed with their no-nonsense customer service response:

Dear Rob,

Thank you for your Email and the pictures. I have just refunded via Amazon the price & delivery costs for the glass (please find attached).

We have recently found out that the glasses don't work for the Nokia 930. Because of the surface of the Nokia 930 it is not possible to produce a tempered glass that fit this device. Therefore I unfortunately cannot offer you any replacement.

But maybe you would be interested in our leather cases in book type:

Please contact me if you order any StilGut case via Amazon - I will refund you 20 % of the case price to apologize for the not working glass.

Please contact me if you have any additional questions.
Best regards from Berlin

Get the Skinomi TechSkin for the Icon.
I had it on my 930, but it peeled off in my pocket (but it was my own fault). I've bought another one but haven't applied it yet. It fits the entire screen perfectly and you can't really even see it's there. I would definitely recommend it.

Yeah I've been looking at that one. I haven't used one since my first WP in early 2011.

Not tempered glass, but you can find Zagg screen protector. It is one of the best screen protector I could find for 930

Wow sorry for my late reply but the forum never alerted me that a new reply was made here. WTH?? I just found your post by manually checking for any news in this topic lol.
Anyways... It seems to be even worse than mine heh, but i'm just glad you got a refund :)

Tempered glass protectors might not work well with any phones that have curved glass, like the 920, 830, or in this case the 930. Personal experience, buy a Skinomi or ArmorShield. Problem with Skinomi is it has a rubbery feeling to it, not as bad as the Zagg ones. ArmorShield is better IMO but not sure whether they make one for the 930
