Can you put a medium tile in a Live Folder?

I was under the impression, that in the 9x9 grid of a medium sized folder, you could put a 2x2 medium tile and 5 1x1 tiles around it. Basically I would like to create a folder with medium tiles that actually have some information on them rather than the mini tiles that usually only show an unread count.

It looks like all the tiles alternate in which ones display more info. My tiles in my folders are alternating in being a blown up live tile, and being a small static tile. I haven't found a way to make one permanently live and static.
