Can you still activate Windows 10 Pro 1607 with an existing Windows 7 Ultimate retail key?

I was able to do this last month, but I am wondering if Microsoft ended the offer. I have another computer that I would like to run a clean install. It would be great if someone who actually accomplished this very recently would reply. Also, can I use the same key I used last month, or is it going to tell me that the license has been activated more than once (I've only used this key once on one computer)?

Last one I did was a little over a week ago.

You'd be better off with a key that's not been previously used but you might get lucky. What OS came with the computer when it was new? If it's a major brand and Windows 7 with a sticker or Windows 8+ with key embedded in ROM, you would be good for that edition.
