Best answer: Lenovo's 2nd Gen ThinkPad X1 Extreme supports PCIe solid-state drive (SSD) storage in the m.2 form factor and is user upgradeable if you're keen to do the work yourself. A good upgrade is a 1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus.
