Can't create new maps on Windows Phone 8.1

Hi there.

Update 8.1 finally arrived to my phone and I'm in the middle of setting everything up for the new look on the start screen.
While I was playing with it, I realized i cannot create new maps, as said being possible for this update. I've looked into videos and I know how I'm supposed to do, but it just don't create maps, the icon is just sliding away to another spot.

Does anyone have the same problem, or know the reason?

Region: Sweden

Nope. You need the developers preview of gdr1.
So after 8.1 you need stil need to enroll the developer preview.

Okay great, then I see why it doesnt work yet.
I also found that driving mode and quite hours in notification center aren't available either, maybe it comes with gdr1 as well?

Any ideas of how long it takes between update 8.1 being available to the gdr1?


Btw I realized I wrote maps instead of folders, glad you understood.

I cant find Driving mode and quite hours in the notificationcentre but maybe its depending on witch region you are in. The gdr 1 should be coming round november. But the preview is already out. You only need a free developers account and download the developers preview app from the store and you are good to go

Just go to
Windows App Studio - Microsoft
Register there
then download
Preview for Developers | Windows Phone Apps & games Store (Nederland)

set it up and then check in settings for a phoneupdate.
