Can't do shortcut--Disk full?

Running latest update of W10 Home on an HP Envy desktop. Above topic says the issue. I have Googled and saw what may have looked like solutions, but I found them rather confusing. So, I'm hoping that I can get a step by step guide on how to get my shortcut function working again. Thanks.

SFC scan OK. Tried this: "Add or Remove Default New Context Menu Items in Windows 10" from Windows 10 Form tutorials, didn't work...but maybe because I ahven't rebooted the computer???

Ran ShellMenuNew: Shortcut link was not disabled
Ran DCIM: Everything is OK
Ran SFC, Three times: Everything is OK
Have not fooled around with registry
No malware of viruses, or any other intrusions
Did a W10 update, maybe a week or two before noticing this issue
Otherwise, computer running fine
