Can't get sound, can't get app menu, now low resolution?

My computer updated and sound no longer worked, to quick work around that I uninstalled the update. By uninstalling the update I can no longer access the windows Button. After a reboot I can no longer resize my screen's resolution which normally is 1920x1080 it's something more like 800x600 or whatever. I still cannot access the start menu. What is going on?!!
