Can't increase size of text and other items. HELP!!!

Hi. I've recently bought a Chuwi Vi8 tablet with windows 8.1. It is an 8 inch tablet with Intel bay trail processor, 32gb storage and 2gb Ram with resolution of 1280 x 800.

One issue with the tablet is the font size and icons all appear too small and strains the eyes. So I right click on my desktop and went into screen resolution > "make text and other items larger or smaller" menu but there is no option for me to select the medium or larger setting.

Is there a way to enable it? Urgent help needed as the small size of the text and other items is making the tablet unusable.

No toption? They're missing? Or the radio buttons are greyed out?
