Can't open email + accounts

So I have this recent issue where suddenly my emails stopped syncing on my Lumia 1020. I've had it for over two years now with no problems and can't think of anything which might have done it. To make things more confusing, I can't even access email+account setting anymore. Is this due to an update or something, and any idea how to fix it?

Check for updates in the store, or delete the account and set it up again
