So i used the new video recording function in the app "Screen recorder" coming with Windows 11.
I have recorded an online meeting, but this meeting was not recorded by the event holders.
Therefore, i used the built in software in Windows 11, and tried to record the whole meeting.
Although i got a file that is 7GB in size, it cant be played when i try to play it in Windows 11.
When i look in the file name, there is some punctures that seems strange, and probably is making this file not playing.
But the file name is automatically made by Windows 11, and it cant be changed even after i tried to rename the file.
I have tried all sorts of video players also, including the most popular VLC Player. Nothing is working.
Is there any known bug in this built in Windows 11 software?
Is there any setting i have forgot to check?
