Cant see predictive text for Lumia 820

Hi,

I am unable to see the predictive text for text messages and emails for Lumia 820. The options are checked under Keyboards > Language but it still does not appear. I have rebooted my phone quite a few times but it does not seemt to appear. How do I get it back?

are you saying that the bar for the text does not appear? (for me its a eternal struggle, do i want screen space or suggestions?)

Yes, the bar for the predictive text does not appear at all.. no suggestions.. i have to type the whole word every time..
