cant send SMS at all

Guys i really need your help, am travelling after 5 days and i will not have an internet connection unless i use an SMS text msg to enable it, and the problem is i really cant send any text messages at all i tried like 25 times, i checked the credits but i really have alot, i soft reset my phone and it didnt work, hard reseting my phone will lead me into a serious problem, anyone have another solution? I told a friend of mine about my problem and he told me about this forums, please reply fast... Thanks!

Currently am living in saudi arabia for a holiday and am returning in one week to my country, my current carrier is mobily but i went to the company and they told me its not from us its a glitch on yr phone...

You got to give more info (what phone and OS #) What it says? Can't send message? If yes go to 8.1--Settings / Cellular + SIM / SIM settings - switch to 2G.
8.0-- Settings/ Cellular -switch to 2G. And try again send message

I posted the thread on lumia 820 topics so, and am using 8.1 and omg :') yr method didnt work... Any other solutions?

Nah) I use my 928 on Tmobile and to send SMS I have to do that. Thought that might help you too)
