Can't Set Up Office 365 Because E-mail Account Is Already In Use

So, I tap the Office tile and then Office 365.
It says that I need to set up my Office 365 account.
I tap the set up button and it gives me choices of Outlook, Hotmail, etc...
I try and use my e-mail accounts, but it says that I already have an account set up for that (which is true).
Why doesn't it just go ahead and use it?
It doesn't give me an option of creating a new Office 365 account, either.
How am I supposed to start using it?
I can open the sample documents, but I can't create something new.
If I click the folder icon (it says new), it asks me for a SharePoint site (the icon doesn't say "new SharePoint site", so it's kind of un-intuitive).

Is no one else having problems with this?
Am I doing something wrong?
I was using the Office 365 preview on my Windows 8 computer, using my Microsoft account (the same one that I'm using on my phone).

I believe if you set up your phone with your outlook 365 account, you don't need to add it again.

I'm not sure if this is an outlook 365 account.
It's my Microsoft account.
I don't have an account on outlook.com, if that's what you're referring to.
I'm assuming that I shouldn't have to create something new just to use it.

Joshua, If I'm reading your issue correctly it is my understanding that "Office 365" is a paid service and different type of account than "Hotmail, Live, Outlook and Xbox" services. I have an "Office 365" account and its login info is different than my "MS live" accounts.

Hmmm...
Yes, Office 365 is a subscription service.
If they are charging for it on phone, though, that's lame.

The free equivalent that us normal consumers get is called SkyDrive. SharePoint and Office 365 are tailored towards business users.

Ok...
I may have just realized something.
I was thinking that office 365 was the office on the phone but I don't think it is.
I think its just an option, like phone or SkyDrive.
I realized that you can swipe over and there is a plus that you can use to create new word or excel files.
It doesn't seem that you can create a PowerPoint file though.
I was thinking office 365 was how you open word or excel.

Haha. Rookie mistake ;) Anyhow yes, you are right, Office is free and built into the phone. And no, you can't create PowerPoint documents but AFAIK you CAN edit them.

Hehehe...
Where is Access?
Frankly, it's about the only office program that I use and I use it quit frequently.
